I Don't Want to be a Billionaire

Words by: Anton Von Stefan

August 18th, 2020 - Copy Write 2020

I Don’t Want to be a Billionaire

Chorus:

No, no, no!   No, no, no!   - - -

I don’t want t be a billionaire!

Still want to have all my hair - - at 69!

Don’t need deep wrinkles on my face,

The result of winning the Rat Race.

Rather be on a beach, in the hot sun.

Ple-ee-ease, I just wanna’ have some fun!

So, no, no!  No, no, no!  - - -

I don’t want to be a billionaire!

1) Made my first million, by twenty-one,

Workin’ from morning, till the day is done,

Counting the money, at each day’s end,

While rippin’ off strangers and close friends.

Chorus:

2) Don’t want to fly, in my own jet plane,

Head full of business, deals givin’ me pain.

I don’t want accountants as my friends,

Don’t need to use lawyers as book ends.

Chorus:

3) Wearing business suites, till after dusk,

Surrounded by people I can’t trust,

Telling new lies, while playing the role,

Not paying debts has, taken its toll.

Chorus:

4) No, no, no!  No, no, no!  - - -

I don’t wanna’ be, a billionaire!

Living this lie has, taken its toll.

If I keep it up, I’ll lose my soul.

Chorus:

(Close out - Repeat)

No, no, no!  No, no, no!  - - -

I don’t wanna’ be a billionaire!  (silence drums and guitars to accent ‘Billionaire’)
