The Incredible Mirror

Preamble

This is a story which takes its origin from the research which I had to look over and read through while working on parts of ‘The Curse of The Red Crystal’.  Wont of the knowledge as to how the earliest Egyptians thought our world had been created, I came upon some very interesting, but seldom revealed, facts.  I had also read a number of books on Egyptian mythology.  Therefrom came the first ideas as to this ungodly story.
As with many other Gothic Horror Stories on a similar subject, the mirror mentioned within this tale eventually captivated the very soul of the beautiful woman who stood before it.  Within its frame, the mirror’s surface was then able to alter the individual’s life, slowly drawing that woman into a web of deceit from which the looking glass is very careful to retain its dark secret.  As in any good horror story, there is a flaw, and eventually the captivated person is presented with a minute glimpse of reality, a shock from which they do not recover.  Yet, the frame itself is an integral part of this story.  It not only contains a rendition of factual, Egyptian history; but, eons ago, that wooden frame had also been altered by some magical hand which vainly sought to contain the evil power the mirror holds.  This is a tale you do not want to miss.
