O Du Schöner Tannenbaum

A poem written in German by Anton Von Stefan

21. Dezember 2015

O Du Schöner Tannenbaum

O

Du schöner Tannenbaum,

Oft

Ganzen Winter Weiß bedeckt,

Aber

Noch immer ewig grüner Waldbaum bist.

Gib

Acht dein Leben fast vorbei,

Als

Im glänzenden Lichter geschmückt,

Mit

Kränzen Kugel handgemachten Schmuck,

Der

Vor – neben – hinter Krippen steht,

Im

Wohnzimmer Kirchen Haus Büro.

Du

Stehst da vor uns allen doch,

So

Schön im Advent und Weihnachtszeit,

Oft

Bewundert bei alle Menschen die dich sehen,

Und

Denken, daß Du uns die Wärme bringst,

Im

Herzen Leib und Körpers Seele,

Als

Wir die Geburt Jesus Christus uns erinnern, feiern,

Sagen

Wir danke für dein kurzes Leben,

O

 Du schöner Tannenbaum.  Danke!
