The Saga Coninues into 2015

Part 21 was written by the Author and is not part of his 'Twisted Biography'.  read on...

Part twenty-two - the saga continues into 2015

Those of you who have read most of the TWISTED BIOGRAPHY on this web site know that Part 21 was actually written by ANTON VON STEFAN and is a self description, not an actual part of his history.  Thus, if I am not to be interrupted in my rendition of his weird life, I beg that I may continue.  Let us re-cap the final events from Part 20 prior to the retardation of my biography of the master mentioned herein.

His work considered ‘finished’ had been returned from the Scottish proofreader in tatters and required thousands of corrections, each of which he ‘naturally’ questioned and proved either their faultlessness as written or that the remedy put forth to amend and rectify the error in writing was indeed accurate and precise.  Our author found that the proofreader was strict, factual, and exact in over 98% of her emendatory work.  Yet, he stood his ground most vigorously and, on occasion, won the day.

Each and every amendment then had to be inserted, the manuscript retyped and the entire work was then proof-corrected once more.  It was on the twentieth of August when the final adjustment was complete and each rectification had been approved by the proofreader.

You now ask, most politely, “Why have I not been able to buy one of the author’s books?”

September is a month where tradition takes him into the interior of B.C. to spend some leisure time with members of other ski clubs who have gathered for this event for over 40 years.  Clubs from various parts of British Columbia and Alberta meet at some campsite to which they are still permitted to assemble, and a weekend of camping that cannot be described occurs.  The week thereafter, he has been cycling for the B.C. Lung Association’s Trek for Breath & Life (see home page for more information or to donate to this good cause).  This then takes one into the latter part of September and into October.  During this time, he was seen traversing the wide ocean known as the Salish Sea and met with another good friend and fellow artist, the individual who is creator of the first book’s cover pages, both the front and the back.  This art work finally came to fulfilment at the end of October.

As the author also had made a provision to permit an individual to stay at his ‘palatial’ home for a few months to tide them over until a new residence would be available to them, he spent a good portion of late September and October effecting that part of his obligation.  This suddenly put the author near the departure time for his next trip to Europe.

You may think he has come to a full stop, yet let me assure you that this is not the case at all.  Anyone who has ever met the man, knows full well he keeps the candle ‘lit’ on both ends and hardly ever sits still in any one location or seat very long.  Thus, packing in haste, he took his trusted computer, his complete works, and his PDF software with him.  As well, I am aware that he has most of the manuscript to his second book with him.  One of those work is complete and is at the proofreaders as this line is written.  No, ANTON VON STEFAN has book one ready to go to press when he returns next spring, in the year 2015.  His second book will surely follow.  For know, he is in training for the Gold Medal Round of the Austrian ‘Icestock’ Shooting contest, an event that shall take place somewhere in his sequestered state of Lower Austria.

Word on the street is that somewhere between Vienna and Stuttgart, Germany, there is a new local wherein one can quaff a true pint of Guinness.  It is known as Marktamt, and our author has been seen therein with a friend or two, yet he was also spotted at Flanigan’s in Vienna’s first district where Guinness is also consumed in pints.
